The Ghost Guild is how we reward the people who make this community valuable. The headline prize is a free GhostStat Pro account, for life — earned, not given, through real, verifiable contribution. It rewards quality and consistency, not volume.
Five ways to earn it
GhostPoints & ranks
You earn GhostPoints from community signal — likes, Best Answers, ideas that get Planned or Shipped, accepted translations, published plugins, confirmed bug fixes. They move you up the ladder: Visitor (0), Signal (50), Tracker (200), Analyst (600), Architect (1500 — Pro for life), and Ghost Council (invite).
The reward, and its quality gate
Reaching Architect makes you eligible. Converting that into the lifetime plan needs one path bar met:
- Helper — 25+ Best Answers, spread over 3+ months, still accurate.
- Visionary — 2+ ideas shipped, or 1 shipped plus 3 Planned.
- Translator — one language pack accepted and kept current for 2 release cycles.
- Builder — one marketplace plugin published and maintained for 2 quarters.
- Sentinel — 5+ confirmed-fix bug reports, or 1 confirmed security report.
The wording "spread over time, kept current, maintained" is deliberate: it rewards durable contribution and makes one-off farming pointless. Staff make the final call and record it publicly.

Once a month we post the Ghost Awards here in Announcements — new Architects, plugins shipped, languages landed, and a Helper of the Month. Ranks and badges also show on every post, so your standing is always visible.
